You do not get freedom within India by shouting "tukde tukde". They weren't asking for freedom; they were purely spreading hatred towards India and shouting horrifying slogans. That's a direct hit to a country's sovereignty. No sane citizen who feels safe and loves living in their homeland would tolerate these terrorists.

While I would not wish this even on my enemy, I feel the government fears that a trial will make a hero out of him and every such sleeper cell separatist will have a precedent to add fuel to a fire.
We already have enough of separatist movements going across northeast and Kashmiri subreddit is notorious for supporting terrorist which essentially are separatists.
It is sad that the government decided to make an example of a young boy who likely made a mistake of his life.

It was definitely caused by their lawyers to a certain extent. The lawyers had been forum shopping and jumping queues, like going straight to the higher courts directly instead of the lower courts, seeking an excessive number of adjournements, withdrawing applications and filing afresh multiple times, etc. All of this is on record. All of this costs time and the courts move at their own pace anyway.

At the same time, the police and the courts should have proceeded with the case. The severity of the charges is the major thing preventing them from getting bail right now, but the issue of bail is only anciliary as far as the trial itself is concerned.

That being said, I hope these terrorist PoSs rot in jail. Or receive the capital punishment (some charges therein carry this). Enough of their seditious bullshit.

NAL but beware of propaganda around the case. I don't believe Umar has incited the riots, I believe the trial is being stalled to keep them in jail for as long as possible because if a trial were to happen and they were found not guilty, it would reflect very badly on the government. 


Everyone likes calling people terrorists when they have differing views. The public is being fed edited content to make it seem like anyone who is speaking against government for whatever reason (corruption, war mongering etc) is a terrorist.


I could have never in my life imagined Sonam wanghuck would be called a terrorist but here we are. The same will happen to him, for atleast a year he will be held in jail under the NSA. Anyone with a sane mind can see a pattern here (you can look up other people who have been locked up in such a way in the last 10yrs). Make no mistake, the trial delay is intentional and very politically motivated.

Laws like UAPA and PMLA are designed to keep "undesirables" in jail permanently, without trial or bail. Only illiterate people think that whoever is arrested are bad guys. In reality, the police is corrupt, and the government is draconian. The prosecutor (like Tushar Mehta here) is always someone who takes orders from the government and enjoys prosecuting the powerless.

I pray whoever across the bureaucracy rejecting their bail and in whatever manner what ever levels their sleep gets disturbed "chronically" and their all chronobiology gets disturbed and haywire . 

Their living ancestors will feel the weight of their egoistic descendants' tyrannical attitude and pain of this extreme effects of losing sleep, I want the lord almighty to anger and cause this extreme displeasure to these bail rejectors, from the lowest menial labour to the highest judge who judged lawlessly.
